COVID 19

COVID-19 information

As the COVID-19 situation continues to unfold in Saskatchewan, we would like to inform you of the steps we are taking to protect the health of you, your pet, and our staff.

There is currently no indication that dogs or cats will become clinically infected with COVID-19 or that they can possibly transmit the virus from person to person.

We have enhanced our cleaning protocols in clinic and are sure to clean door handles and counter tops between each visitor and are requesting that only one person be in our lobby area at a time.

We are also requesting that everyone who visits our office joins our staff in wearing a mask. If required, you can purchase a mask from us.

Our team members will be practicing social distancing and increase hand-washing. We ask that you please do the same.

If you are symptomatic, feeling ill, or have recently traveled or been exposed to travelers from high risk areas, we ask that you please stay home and reschedule your appointment or arrange for someone else to accompany your pet to their appointment.

To continue to provide the best care possible to your pet we are offering the following alternatives:

  • Phone consultations can be booked with a veterinarian in place of an appointment (however, please note that the advice we can give without physically seeing your pet will be limited)
  • Have someone else accompany your pet to their appointment
  • You may drop your pet off for us to examine and/or do any diagnostics

To reduce the risk of shortages, we will be limiting prescription refills to a 1 month supply.

Please do not hesitate to call us at the clinic at 306 955 8387 with any questions or concerns.
